the adventures of jim and ashley!

this is what happens when my manager gives me a $50 budget and full creative freedom to decorate our store for the frappuccino happy hour promo. we’re participating in a district-wide theme competition so our fingers are crossed!

i went to the dmv to get my maryland license and after spending 2 hours of my life in that ridiculous place i came home to soy chorizo and red potato tacos. and yep, jim made homemade tortillas! best husband ever.

this whole being a vegan thing is not hard at all. tonight jim made baked tofu, red taters and there’s a shit ton of avocado in that there salad. yum. and it’s served on some sweet fiestaware plates we got from aunt rachel! speaking of wedding presents, jim and i have been making our thank you cards and they’re almost done! yay!

our friend noelle and her boyfriend morgan took the train from philly to come visit us for the weekend. on top of that the movers FINALLY came with our stuff this past saturday morning. AAAAAAND OUR AIR CONDITIONER BROKE DOWN DURING A RECORD-BREAKING HEAT WAVE. gotta love that timing, right? we tried to stay out of our very box-cluttered, 95 degree home as long as we could.
